Last week, at the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University 2 students from the Warsaw medical University, Mateusz Kaczmarski and Wojciech Glug, took a part in the medical exchange program between Ukrainian Medical Students Association (UMSA) and Polish non-governmental student organization SASA Foundation. The internship held at the Department of Surgical Diseases, Operative surgery and Topographic anatomy of the School of Medicine, Central Clinical Hospital “Ukrzaliznytsa” under the leadership of Head of department, Doctor of Medicine, Professor I. V. Belozerov.

On September 21, 2016 the School staff conference was held. It was devoted to the consideration of candidates for the vacant position of the Dean of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. According to the decision of the Academic Council of the School of Medicine and established by this decision quotas of the structural divisions of the School of Medicine reports of the candidates for the vacant position about the prospects for the next 5 years were presented to the delegates of all structural divisions in the amount of 175 people.

SBRA-ESBRA Berlin 2016 World Congress on Alcohol and Alcoholism, wich took place at Berlin 2-5th September with almost 1000 participants from all over the world. Olga Vyglazova has participated there with a poster presentation with a poster "ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTIC MARKERS OF ALCOHOL ADDICTION BASED ON COMPLEX ESTIMATION OF ADDICTIVE STATUS (COMORBID ADDICTIONS)".

It’s goal was to determine the quotas of the office employees of structural subdivisions of the School at the conference of the School staff and also it was devoted to the consideration of candidates for the vacant position of the Dean of the School of Medicine of V. During the summer holidays the 2nd year student of the School of Medicine Nikolai Usik participated in the work of Dnipropetrovsk rescue squad as a volunteer. Nikolai repeatedly took part in the rescue and search operations, during which has demonstrated high level of knowledge of theoretical material and practical skills.

Students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkov National University on the clinical base of the Department of surgical diseases, operative surgery and topographic anatomy at the State institution «V. T. Zaitsev Institute of General and Urgent surgery of NAMS of Ukraine» have visited the soldiers - participants of anti-terrorist operation, which are treated for gunshot wounds, mine-blast trauma, and contusions, which have been obtained at the civil duty execution.

It was dedicated to epidermolysis bullosa, the 5th anniversary of the International Public Organization "Dermatologists-for children" and the Centre "DEBRA Ukraine» in Ukraine.
