During a grand meeting of the Academic Boards Assembly to mark Karazin University’s 212 th foundation anniversary was the awarding of the winners of the XVII exhibition-contest of study guides, whеre was awarded the staff members of the School of Medicine with the Diploma of the I degree in direction “Educational materials for Higher school”. The authors of the textbook «Angiography and X-ray endovascular surgery of thoracoabdominal bleeding» are Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases, Operative Surgery and Topographical Anatomy Yuriy V. December 23th at the student science anatomy society, which functions at a Department of Human Anatomy students held a seminar devoted to the contemporary rethinking of views on the composition and structure of the autonomic nervous system in the light of scientific studies in last year. The basis for this discussion was an article Espinosa-Medina, O. Saha, F. Boismoreau et. al. «The sacral autonomic outflow is sympathetic», published in the November issue 2016 year of journal «Science».

On October 13th, 2016 the international conference "The 11th Kiev dermatological days" took place in Kyiv. The creation of the Ukrainian Hair Research Society (UHRS) has become one of the most anticipated events of the Congress for all professionals whose activity - hair diseases. It was actively supported by the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and professional associations - the European Hair Research Society (EHRS), the Georgian Hair Research Society (GHRS), the Union of Russian Federation Trichologists and the Ukrainian Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (UADV).
