On August 16, 2018 by the Order No. 918/475 the free transfer of the state organization"Specialized Health Care Unit No. 13" from the management of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to the management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to the balance of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the establishment of the University Clinic at the School of Medicine was approved.

On May 24, 2018 in the GI «L. T. Malaya Therapy National Institute of the National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine» in cooperation with the GI «S. P. Grigoriev Institute of Medical Radiology of the NAMS of Ukraine» a scientific and practical conference of young scientists with international participation "PREVENTIVE MEDICINE TODAY: CONTRIBUTION OF YOUNG SPECIALISTS" was held, devoted to the Day of Science.

On June 1, 2018 it was announced a new contest to win the annual Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for developing and integrating the latest technologies. Higher educational and scientific institutions belonging to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine are invited to make an application for conferring the Prize up to the August 1, 2018.

On the basis of the Department of Human Anatomy of the School of Medicine, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, continues to conduct student scientific seminars as part of the student society of the normal human anatomy. In the second semester of this academic year, within the society, a series of scientific seminars with the participation of domestic students was held.

May 27, 2018

On May 24, 2018 it was held another meeting of the Students’ Scientific Section of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. In the course of the meeting the topic “Modern Perspectives on Aging Mechanisms and Possibilities of Healthy Aging” was under consideration. A presentation was made by the Candidate of Biology, Associate Professor V. I. Padalko, then it took place an intensive discussion about the topic.

On May 17-18, 2018 in Kiev the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Association of Arrhythmologists of Ukraine was held. Participation in the conference, as speakers, was taken by the instructors of the Department of Internal Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

On 18-19 May, 2018 a delegation of instructors of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, namely Head of the Department of General and Clinical Immunology and Allergology, PhD in medicine, Full Professor M. M. Popov, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, PhD in medicine, Full Professor V. H. Chernus'kyj and Candidate of Biology, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Immunology and Allergology S. H. Malanchuk took part in the International Scientific-and-Practical Conference dedicated to the 110th Anniversary since I. I. Mechnykov had won the Nobel Prize held in Dvorichna, Kharkiv Region.
