On October 18-20, 2018, was held the 2nd International scientific conference "Tumors of the central nervous system. Multidisciplinary approach ". The main issues raised were the problems of the organization of care for patients with CNS tumors, diagnostics, radiotherapy and radiosurgery, surgical treatment of central nervous system tumors.

The fifth seminar of human anatomy was held on October 08, 2018 for English speaking students. This seminar included topics about immune protection of organism.

On October 18, 2018 in the course of Students’ Games in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held a Badminton Competition. The School of Medicine was represented by students Lolita Horobec’ (6th year) and Brinxda Maxarazhan (3rd year). According to the competition’s results our students won the 1st place overall!

The School of Medicine was represented by students Iryna Serashova (4th year), Inna Myxajlova (3rd year), Iryna Loza (1st year). According to the tournament results our students won the 1st place overall.

On October 16, 2018 in the course of Schools’ Games of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held a Checkers competition. The School of Medicine was represented by the 1st year students: Artem Snehir'ov, Daler Sadrydinov and Danylo Rudenko. According to the tournament results our students won the 3rd place overall.

On October 11, 2018, in Kiev was held a scientific and practical conference devoted to the World Thrombosis Day «Thrombophlebitis in Ukraine». Contemporary World Trends. " The program was full of reports by cardiologists, general practitioners (family doctors), obstetricians, gynecologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, neurologists about the mechanisms of development, prevention, and comprehensive treatment of venous thromboembolism.

On October 8, 2018 it was held another meeting of Students Scientific Section at the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. While the meeting it were presented two papers dedicated to its general topic “Tattoos in history and in modern life from histologist’s point of view”, in which all pros and cons had been considered.

The fourth seminar of human anatomy was held on October 01, 2018 for English speaking students. Students of the 2nd year are interested in participating in such forums. The topics of the seminar's reports concerned the medical problems of the modernity.

On September 27, 2018, the Ukrainian association for the Study of Pain organized an interdisciplinary symposium "Pain control", which took place in Kharkiv for the second year.
