On June 6, 2019, a student conference was held at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which was attended by more than 450 foreign students and students of Ukraine from the all medical schools. Speakers and observers were also present: Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, full professor I. V. Belozerov, Deputy Dean of Educational Work of the School of Medicine, Candidate of Medicine, Associate professor O. O. Vlasenko, Deputy Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of International Education on Educational and Adaptation Work A. S. Polivantsev, specialist of the I category of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education M. O. Bilovsky, students of other courses and instructors of the School of Medicine.

Staff members of the Department of General Practice – Family Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine A. H. Reznichenko and Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine S. V. Hridnieva took part in an international specialized scientific and pedagogical internship program for medical higher educational institutions instructors on the basis of Lublin Medical University (Poland).

On May 30, 2019 in Kharkiv National Medical University 15 students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took the military Oath of Allegiance to the people of Ukraine. Students of Kharkiv National Medical University and Kharkiv National University of Pharmacy also took part in the event.

The Health Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration informs that the incidence of measles in the Kharkiv region is growing, and therefore anti-epidemic measures are being taken. Detailed information is available in the attached letter.

The head of the Student Scientific Society, Daria Vorona, and the Head of the Council of Young Scientists, Kateryna Lyubomudrova, on May 17-18, 2019, joined the first Biotech con conference in Ukraine, held on the basis of Kyiv National University of Design and Technology.

On May 20, 2019 it was held another meeting of Students Scientific Club of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Reports entitled “Regenerative Capability of Skin” was presented by the 2nd year student of the School of Medicine Kateryna Cheremska.

On April 22, 2019 Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor Y. D. Khvorostov was awarded with the title “Emeritus Professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University” having become the first School of Medicine staff member who got this title since the School’s revival as a part of Karazin University.

This year, celebration School of Medicine Day was held in a new form - "Miss School of Medicine 2019". 10 beautiful, clever and talented girls have conquered the entertainment complex "Misto" on May 17, 2019. A lot of applause, elegant dress and many delights! The event was attended by a Dean of School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor I. V. Belozorov, teachers and students of the faculty.

Students of the School of Medicine took part in the VIII National Assembly of Medical Students, which was held on May 3-5, 2019 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. 3-year students: Shepel Veronika, Serobyan Anahit, Gegia Salome, Davidok Victoria, Dmitriukova Sofia, Victor Ostapenko presented the local office of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association at the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
